Our History
Dixie Products Inc. is a family-owned business and has been serving the fleet-washing industry for over 35 years. DPI started as a one-man operation in 1970. It began with Leon Dowdy selling a variety of degreasers and cleaning compounds out of the bed of his Chevrolet pickup to repair shop owners and logistics companies in the Atlanta area. With focus, determination, integrity, hard work and a great sense for business, Leon made his company thrive.
DPI currently helps large and small fleet companies all over the United States by providing equipment and chemicals to help keep customer’s fleets clean. DPI is one of the most respected companies in its industry do to the high level of service and continuous customer loyalty.

History in the Making
In January of 2000, Janet Smalley was promoted to president of Dixie Products Inc.
